ka here:

These photos were taken by several sources from the beaches in Louisiana and Mississippi.  Please feel free to share them with whomever is interested in the effects of the BP oil spill on the gulf coast and all who call, or called, it home.  And to all the non-believers who are certain that BP did their job and all is well in this area, please leave and go be  a skeptic somewhere else.  These people have been through enough and I personally will not allow any mean attitude in this space to taint their hope that people really do care and are listening.   And I speak for a large amount of people who do believe and who know there is some major cover up action going on. But if you don't believe what these people are showing and saying then they ask me to invite you to come on down and take a nice little swim in the coffee colored ocean water, but be careful to watch your step with all the dead fish around, you might just slip.  So continue on to speak up residents of LA and MS.  I created this space for you to share the truth and to reach people far and wide.  And we have only just begun!

I am so grateful for the dedicated people being the main media of info to tell the real truth of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The deplorable conditions our government has allowed a corporation to get away with without the proper accountability for the people living on the Gulf Coast and our Nation and the Earth as a whole is criminal. I am so appreciative for these citizens who are taking it upon themselves to document the real horrendous truth making it's way known to an unsuspecting innocent people eating from the Gulf and using the the beaches as if all is well.

it is an HONOR to create a platform to launch the truth coming from the real people who live in these areas who know that what the mainstream media is sharing is much different than what they are living. The oil is NOT gone. The corexit is everywhere. The dead fish and sea turtles and birds and dolphins are everywhere on the beaches. They keep putting new white sand over the beaches to cover the oil that comes in. The people are sick from illnesses from inhaling the chemicals in the oil and corexit. This is a dire situation that affects us ALL as a nation and as the united people of this world. We are all ONE. And we have to listen to our brothers and sisters in need and we have to demand that things change.

At this point, Joanne, it isn't just a matter of BP's recklessness. Our government has a responsibility to make sure the pollution is cleaned up as quick and thoroughly as possible, and to hold BP accountable to the fullest extent of international law. Furthermore, the local authorities should not be allowing our beaches to remain in such state, and definitely should not allow people to play in the water. Shocking.

I live in Pensacola, Florida and I have seen none of this. We, (my disciples) and I have been all over the beaches from Destin, Florida all the way to Orange beach Alabama this year, and we have NOT seen this one time...I have not been to Mississippi but this is a very heart breaking set of photos. I hope the local Law firms will continue to keep pressure on BP seeing as our Gub'ment won't...

Yes Ed I've heard the beaches in Florida were the first concern to protect because of the tourist industry and the big money that entails. You are lucky! It does seem from my far away position in New Mexico that I am hearing mostly from people in LA and MS. But look at where the spill originated and it seems it would flow right into those states. I have heard on the Florida beaches though that BP was working night and day before tourist season started to clean up the beaches and they have these things far out in the water holding back the oil so it doesnt enter the area. Sadly it is about money first in the US(and actually everyhwere) and at the bottom of the totem pole comes the sea creatures and the health of the people living in the areas who are dealing with this pollution. Check out the full page on this website for more information. There is a wonderful documentary called Kindra's Window from a lovely gal in LA who begins the docu with Hurricane Katrina and ends it with the BP oil spill, the fish industry dying and the people suffering from the chemical illnesses from breathing the air. The pressure is on BP but they are doing everything in their power, which is heavy duty power, to sweeep this under the rug and keep the people quiet. There is also a youtube clip about all these BP whistleblowers that are ending up dead. Like this article out of Colorado "this is the best hidden secret perhaps in the history of our nation".

Keep up this work, it is so very important. Your efforts are helping and are appreciated. I am so thankful people are working to help each other and the Gulf. The pictures mean so much and can not give the words needed. Mix the good with the bad helps to ground us but shows what is lost as well.

The destruction of the gulf by BP is absolutely sickening to look at, so just think what those poor creatures that experienced these horrible deaths went through before they died. I have been going to the gulf coast in the summer for 50 years and have never seen anything like this. Its criminal.
Thank you Laurel for posting these photos of the truth.

@Gaia ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS, NEITHER ARE YOU AND NEITHER ARE THE OTHER CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY. THE ONES WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF THIS DESTRUCTION = BP, HALLIBURTON & THE WHITE HOUSE ADMINISTRATION FOR HELP COVERING IT UP! THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR -THIER- ACTIONS AND THEIR LACK OF CLEANING THIS MESS UP. WAR IS NOT PEACE, IGNORANCE IS NOT STRENGTH, AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DID NOT CAUSE THIS EVIL BS, THE COMPANY'S BEHIND IT DID!

You only have a handful of choices...stay dependent on foreign oil...or drill here BUT manage closely the operations of the oil companies...OR...thin out the human race... I vote for all of the above...minus the dependency...we are the final plague...

@ Gaia, you said, "We are all responsible for being addicted to Oil"

Please don't fall for that attitude that they want promoted. This is all part of Agenda 21. Every step of the way was planned. Nothing was an accident. It's beyond time for ppl to wake up to that. It is only getting worse, we cannot stop it until ppl see it for what it is, warfare on American ppl to promote Agenda 21 and global gov't, not to even mention the depopulation part, but slowly while Big Pharma fleeces the poisoned.

I don't think Brian was being mean and truthfully if the human race does need to be thinned out lets hope the ones leaving work at BP or for the government or are some of the abusers of the people and the earth out there, instead of someone who finds this page and wants to make a comment. I believe if you are here on this page now, you are good and wanting things to change for the better. There is too much attacking already going on out there in the world and I don't want it on my website. WE are different from all the rest, right? And honestly if we could choose, I would so volunteer to go! Because all that I see out there makes me so sad and sometimes so lost feeling like what CAN we do because the powers that be are so in control and out to squash all that is at the bottom of the totem pole. And that is why I started this website to do whatever I can, even if it only touches one person. That alone gives me hope to keep spreading these messages to let everyone know, myself included, that we are not alone, and that people are waking up, standing up,asking questions, looking for the truth and demanding that things change.

Today is the anniversary of Bobby Kennedy being assassinated right after he won the California primary. We have to take over where he was stopped from going. We have to do whatever we can, no matter how big or small the effort will be, if even holding the thought of love in our minds, and forgiveness, but not hate and not attack. We the people have to come together and stop fighting each other. The powers in control love that because it keeps our large numbers seperated and divided and easier for them to conquer. We will change things but only when we can come together and understand each other and if someone fights us, walk away, do not engage. You can not change somebody else when they are in fight mode and all it does is bring you down to their level, their vibration. We must believe that things will change and that we have the tools to change them. We must believe that we are not alone and that we have this huge support system rooting us on. Because we do! WE just forget that sometimes...

Thank you everyone for your comments, for speaking up. Thank you everyone for sharing this link. Thank you everyone for continuing to talk about this and share it with everyone you know. On this path that is all you can do. And only later in time do you see how those small steps were essential to bringing about a result we can not see yet. But continue to follow this yellow brick road because there is a destination to it...

I cannot believe what Bp has allowed to happen in our beautiful world!! As I sit here in tears thinking what has become of people when the almighty dollar is more important than anything in this world! To watch animals and people suffer for our greed and convenience just makes me sick! Our time will come and it won't be pretty!! Us as people will pay the price,it's just a matter of time!! The world and animals that we are graced with are beautiful it is people who are ugly!!

Hello folks. Those photos are sad, and effective. The only thing I can say besides "we're sorry" to the creatures affected is that they will be even more effective with some specific locations mentioned, so people can see for themselves that Corexit has done. Something more specific than "Gulf Coast" or "Biloxi". Doubters will want to see it from themselves before joining our cause, and I have no issue with that. And if the webpage visitor is a journalist who may want to report on this, they definitely need a location! But GREAT work documenting this!

Oil Spill Eater II There was a non toxic Alternative to clean up the spill that has been successfully tested by BP after 10 months of spill damages. The Coast Guard sent a letter from headquarters stating to the FOSC to take action with OSE II, and the EPA, Lisa Jackson stopped the Coast Guard from allowing BP from implementing OSE II. In fact the EPA stopped the application of OSE II 11 times denying State Senators direct request for use of OSE II from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. La Department of environmental requested the use of OSE II as well, EPA's Sam Coleman denied their request without reason. Governor Jindal tried to get OSE II demonstrated on the Chandelier Islands on May 6, 2010, and the EPA stopped the Governor as well. The EPA in fact stopped the use of OSE II 11 times, without a reason given. Had the EPA allowed Governor Jindal to allow the demonstration of OSE II on May 6, 2010, it is possible a significant portion of the environmental damages, including the shorelines and the seafood industry would have been spared. The toxicty test comparison between OSE II and corexit really cannot be compared since with corexit, the label states it can cause red blood cells to burst, kidney, and liver problems if a chemical suit and respirator are not worn. OSE II in contrast can be used to wash your hands and is non toxic. The BP Deep Horizon spill has proven that corexit only sinks oil and causes the same oil to be addressed a second time when it comes ashore as under water plumes, or tar balls, while OSE II has a substantiated end point of converting oil to CO2 and water. New Enviroment Pollution in USA on Monday, 18 July, 2011 at 12:43:
A cleanup effort is underway in the US after a BP pipeline in Alaska was hit by a spill during testing at the weekend. A spokesperson for the UK supermajor said the spill at the pipeline which serves the Lisburne oil field in Prudhoe Bay “appears minor”. The spill, which happened on Saturday, occurred during pressure testing of a new valve, the spokesperson added. The area affected by the spill is believed to be small and the spokesperson described it as a methanol/water oil substance as opposed to straight oil. “We will determine the cause in due course," added the spokesperson who was not willing to reveal the amount of substance spilled. BP is a 26% owner of the Lisburne field with rivals ConocoPhillips and ExxonMobil each taking 36%. US supermajor Chevron holds the remaining 2%. The Lisburne field is a complex, fractured carbonate reservoir which lies underneath and adjacent to the main Ivishak reservoir at Prudhoe Bay. It was discovered in 1968 and came on-stream in 1986. Cumulative production from the field is nearly 189 million barrels of oil equivalent.
