KA here:

First the debt ceiling talks and then the stock market's drastic plunge.  I was playing a witness without getting involved with the emotional tug of war of what is going on in our world in these days.  I made the choice to feel it all, but to not judge it as a determinant of my own safety in the world.  With the debt ceiling talks, which I didn't play any part of learning what was really going on, I just felt the ways the media manipulates our feelings of safety and I predicted that after all the oh no's and this is the end that something would be worked out and that life would then go on as it does.  I watched funny and inspirational movies instead.  I payed attention to all my friends who were just finding new jobs or who were having lucky breaks come into their lives.  From my perspective things were going GREAT!  And then I would give a moments glance to the photos they chose to print of  the oh no's and this is the end and I could feel the depression and hopelessness they created.  But I said, nope I will not buy into that hype and I will instead wait this out for I knew the news would eventually say, okay victory is before us, it all worked out.  But then came the credit rating thing and then came the stock market crash, which fortunately for me I have never bought into the stock market investments and have always scratched my head at that whole concept.  It's always to me seemed like a get rich quick scheme and we always heard growing up that if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is, right?  That whole thing always felt like a mixture of quick sand and fortune telling.  I think investments in humans, in local businesses, in sustainablity and in even in art feel more like something that is the wave of the future and the direction we should be moving towards.

But my point here is don't buy into all this gloom and doom.  It is not all coming to an end.  I think where you put your emphasis is also a very key component.  Are you soaking up all that the mainstream media feeds you and manipulates you with?  Or are you looking outside the box and focusing on the good that you DO HAVE in your life in this moment right now?  Do you have your health?  Do you have the love of awesome animals?  Do you have a home, for now?   Do you have friends who truly have your back and would do anything for you?  Do you have memories that you can look back upon and feel them light up your heart?  Do you have a garden growing and can watch the miracle of life sprung out of a little ole seed?  Do you have butterflies making appearances in your life to remind you of rebirth out of the transformation?  Do you have babies to be around to remind you of innocence and trust?  Do you have some grass to sit upon and to feel the healing energies of our Mama Earth?  Do you have a tree you can hug?  Are you sipping on a yummy cup of coffee right now?  Well be thankfull!  Be Grateful for at least you do have THAT!

Yes things can be pretty scary out there in the world as it all seems to be falling away.  What if this really was all a part of the grand plan?  What if you could know in your heart that this is the same as pruning away a rose bush to make way for better growth?  You wouldnt cry and feel hopeless over an act like that, so don't feel that way over what you see occurring in the world!  It is all a-okay and right on schedule and right as it should be happening to correct the wrongs that we have just known as our daily world.  It can be a better place and we are moving into this better place.  Don't give up yet!  We are so close and the worst and the most dark will come right before it gets to the light so your job is just to believe that the best outcome is on the way.  Your job is to trust yourself, the world, the people, this process and to feel hope and assurance in your heart the same way you know that those noodles in a pan boiling will eventually be softened up and ready to eat.  You don't stand over the pan and worry that maybe this time they won't soften and will for some reason stay hard.  You know that once this time has passed and the process completed that you WILL be able to eat and enjoy those noodles.  So find that same knowing in your heart, that same trust in the process, that all will be righted and all will work out in the end and we will all be safe and have food and have lives to enjoy living.  Just feel what it feels like to trust and feel supported in this process.  Because I know it feels so much better then feeling hopeless and full of fear.  The choice is yours.  Feel the love for what you do have and just like a child who doesn't need to worry about how things will come together, remember that you have a Mama Earth who is ultimately watching over and taking care of things.  Be a child who has trust and unflinching faith that things will work out to the best and get out of your way and let the Mama take over from here.  She knows what she is doing and she is so much more powerful than little ole us so step aside and just KNOW in your heart that we are safe and we will be provided for.  Because that is the TRUTH.
